If I hear that again from a guy I think I'll slice open my jugular and have the one who made that comment to me lick up my blood. Totally kidding, but I mean my goodness. I love being 'best friends' with guys I really do. I love the opposite sex, they are great fun, laid back, comical, enjoy the things I enjoy, most the time good looking but do they honestly think me being told that I am their best friend is a wonderful and easy thing to hear?
'Beth you are amazing, I can't not be your friend, please don't ever leave.' Great, woo, super. I love my life and all my best guy friends. You just go right ahead and date girls, get married even, and I'll just continue to be your best friend. It's like my favorite thing. I love it, it's the best...really, truly, it is!
